ROI2009: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
ESA'S 20TH ANNUAL NEW BUSINESS CONFERENCE

If you can't find the answer below, please email us.

Why should I go?
Three days of the best new business ideas anywhere. Six guest speakers at the top of their game. Dozens of prospecting, sales, and category insights that will give you a decided edge over your competition. Interactive breakout sessions to drill down to your specific opportunities. Millions of dollars of new business concepts you can implement tomorrow. And did we mention it was in Captiva, Florida ... in January?

Who will be there?
The true leadership of today's broadcast television landscape. GMs, GSMs, LSMs, DOS's, and AEs who are looking to make 2009 a phenomenal year.

How do I register?
Online
PH: 732.530.1996
FX: 732.530.7001 (Registration Form coming soon)
Email: ROI@ESACompany.com

Okay, I've registered for the conference ... Do I also need to book a room at the South Seas Resort?
YES, and soon. We've generally oversold accomodations at our event for the past three years. Book by December 15th to be safe. Visit the hotel's website or call 866.565.5089 and be sure to drop our name for a preferred rate.

Any major differences from years past?
Aside from the fresh, timely content, YES. The venue is different. We are now hosting the event at the South Seas Resort on Captiva Island. In other words, count on a little longer commute from the airport. South Seas Resort is 35 miles from Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers (RSW), but the route is more "scenic" than in the past. Please make a note of this.

What's the price?
Here's the scoop.

What about meals?
Thursday's lunch is included in the conference fee. There will also be a Sunset Reception on propriety on Wednesday evening around sunset (usually about 6:10pm). Be sure to grab lunch on your own Wednesday before you enter the room. Early birds can grab a continental breakfast on Thursday and Friday mornings (also included in fee).

How do I get there?
You can arrive South West Florida International Airport in Fort Myers (Airport code: RSW), which is 35 miles away. Here are directions to the South Seas Resort.

If you're not renting a car, you'll need to arrange transportation to the South Seas Resort.

When should I arrive / depart?
The first session begins at 12:30pm on Wednesday January 14th. Be sure to pick up your badge and materials starting at 11:30am. Keep in mind that if your first night at the hotel is Wednesday, your room may not be available by the time the conference starts (there will be breaks).

The conference will end by 1:00pm on Friday January 16th. A golf outing will be scheduled for either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. All attendees are invited, regardless of skill level (just ask Roland about the skill level thing). Typically, about half of our attendees stay Tuesday and/or Friday night.

Is Roland really that bad at golf?
Worse.

Just who is the best golfer on the ESA & Company team?
Far and away, Lynne Edwards.

What's the dress code?
There really isn't one, but most attendees wear business casual.

What's the weather like in Captiva in January?
Much better than (insert your DMA here). Highs around 72. Bring a sweater just in case, because they really like their AC down there. Nights are cool, lows in the mid to upper 50s. (Keep in mind our first conference was in Chicago ... in February.)

What if my question hasn't been answered yet?
Please ask us via email or call us at 732.530.1996.
